Render of digital garment

Fenotip is a digital fashion project that merges the concept of phenotype from biology with a vision of space travel, exploring the interaction between genotype and environment. The project delves into themes of genetic mutations and modifications, drawing inspiration from the idea of bodily changes and adaptations.
It takes cues from extraterrestrial anatomy, with a focus on altered human forms. The aesthetic and conceptual framework of the project is influenced by films such as Alien and video games like Scorn

Process
This project introduces a workflow that begins without a preconceived design concept. The process starts with basic patterns for a simple shirt and trousers, where proportions and positioning are experimentally altered to explore new shapes and silhouettes. By deconstructing traditional garment patterns, the aim is to discover new forms of expression, free from the constraints of conventional garment creation. The result is a collection of garments that evolve organically, with each piece emerging from the iterative experimentation of shape, structure, and proportion, rather than from a fixed idea. This approach fosters a dynamic process, where the final forms are a direct reflection of the creative exploration at each stage.

Representation of  AteMyTwin Pants model transformation

AteMyTwin Pants
The "Ate My Twin" pants embody duality through a surreal fusion of fashion and anatomy. Inspired by the rare phenomenon of fetus in fetu, where one twin absorbs the other during development, these pants explore themes of identity, transformation, and the uncanny.
The design features organic shapes resembling skeletal structures intertwined in a surreal dance of two bodies. The high-shine surface reflects light, emphasizing the fluid, intertwined geometry that wraps around the legs, symbolizing the relationship between the absorbed and the absorber.
Further accentuated by abstract protrusions and tightly coiled elements around the thighs and calves, the design creates a visual illusion of compression and fusion. This evokes a deep sense of connection between the wearer and the invisible twin—a part of the body that feels both foreign and intimately familiar.

Nebula Jacket
The Nebula Jacket embodies a phenotypic adaptation, symbolizing humanity's ability to adapt and evolve, both physically and symbolically, as we venture into uncharted territories. Inspired by space travel, the jacket blends organic forms that reflect the complexity of human anatomy and evolution.
Key to its design are reflective surfaces that interact with light, shifting with movement to create a dynamic play of shadows and highlights. These details emphasize the jacket's fluid, evolving geometry, symbolizing continuous change and adaptation. The reflective materials capture and refract light, further enhancing its otherworldly, evolutionary concept.
